Mud Team for Mashiko - Japan

The Etsy Mud Team is working together to raise support and donations for our fellow potters in Japan, specifically in the historic pottery village of Mashiko which was hard hit by the recent earthquake.

We will be donating through the appeal set up by the internationally known Leach Pottery which has a long history with the village themselves. You can find more information here.

1000 birds for Japan

My dear blog friend Maki has made 1000 lovely birds to help people in Japan.

Excited!

I'm so excited! I sold  three lidded jars on Etsy!
My first parcel is traveling all long way to Atlanta and the other one
is on a trip to Canberra.
I am sending some spring tulips to these lovely ladies.

Spring sun

Spring sun has elicited bees from the beehives, 
they were happily grazing on rare flowers, 
which have already managed to flourish.

Daffodils and tulips  are rushing out of the ground. 
It will take few days for them to flourish.
I can't wait, you see!

Spring

I've been waiting for her so long... and then she came quietly with gently rain.
She didn't disturb birds with their wedding feast.
Birds song and sunlight in the morning is what I like the most.

After two days spent in front of a computer, I managed to get my etsy shop open.

There will be lots of cats this month....

.... so I've been playing with cats faces.

Hardly waiting for spring

Cold weather is good for those who like to go skiing and my children are one of them. But I'm tired of winter already and I'm longing for spring sunshine and flowers in the garden.

I took some pictures of early spring wild flowers  and hope the spring will be here soon.
