First snow

"Finally!" the kids are shouting.
"To early," drivers are grumbling.
All things have good and bad sides. It depends upon our point point of view.

And that's my point of view.

Coloring

I like to draw in the night-time when all is quiet. My children are sleeping and nobody bothers me. It is completely upside down when I start with coloring. I like the daylight. Colours are so vivid in the daylight :)

New picturebook

Clay is left aside these days because I have no time for it. I have to draw some pictures for a new picturebook for children and that is why pencil becomes my number one companion.
I am very happy to have a company of the little panda who crawls all around my desk.

Autumn is here and its wonderfull colours  are turning  to brownish.

Cat the Slipper-Cobbler

I have painted the story of Cat the Slipper-Cobbler on the walls of the fairy room. The paintings are based on a story written by a Slovenian author of children books Ela Peroci.

Kitten takes away all slippers that are not in their place. After the Cat takes away the slippers she carefully cleans and repairs  them. In the morning when children wake up they cannot find their slippers and so they decide to find the Cat the Slipper - Cobbler.....

Children in the kindergarten can watch the painting of the story every dan and they can learn to put the slippers in their place.

Workshop for children and grandparents

I have prepared a workshop for children and their grandparents.
We began with making of an autumn bowl.

And how do the dishes look like at the end?

They must dry out slowly and then they can be put into the kiln.
